Our Physicians

Dr. Katie Dalton

Dr. Dalton received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Oklahoma. She then went on to her medical training at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Oklahoma. After residency, she completed an additional year of training in caring for children in the hospital and worked for 3 more years as a pediatric hospitalist for OU-Tulsa Department of Pediatrics. In 2009, she joined the other physicians in opening Tulsa Pediatric Urgent Care. She loves working at TPUC because the patients and caregivers she encounters keep her on her toes, and she gets to have more time to take care of her toddler and volunteer at the school and various activities in which her older children participate. She enjoys being healthy with yoga, Pilates and hiking/jogging, as well as continually working to get her 3 children to eat vegetables!

Dr. Leah Baxter

Dr. Leah Baxter received her undergraduate degree in physiology from OSU in 1998 and graduated from OSU-College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002 before beginning her pediatric career at OU College of Medicine.  There she completed her pediatric residency and was co-chief resident of her class.  After residency she continued her training with an additional year of pediatric hospital medicine and served as an attending physician for medical residents and students at the Children’s Hospital at St Francis.  Dr. Baxter has been with Tulsa Pediatric Urgent Care since its opening in February of 2009 and loves the perfect balance of work and family it provides.  She enjoys the country life with her husband and two boys outside of Broken Arrow.  She spends her free time hiking, traveling, dabbling in photography, and attending her son’s activities.
